About Us
NeoLogic is a unique fabless semiconductors startup. We develop disruptive technology called "Quasi-CMOS", to address the ever-increasing workloads of video, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and more, in the cloud and at the edge.
Our processors will outperform any CMOS implemented CPU in terms of PPA at any process node.
Ready for your next challenge? come join our growing team of talents!
Role Description
We are seeking experienced system architects to help shape NeoLogic's next-generation CPU cores with our cutting-edge technology. If you're excited about enhancing CPU performance using groundbreaking microarchitectural concepts, modeling these ideas to prove their value, and seeing them through implementation and silicon bring-up, we want to hear from you!
What you will be doing
Join our team to work closely with designers in proposing and showcasing the benefits and limitations of innovative CPU microarchitectural features. Your goal will be to enhance performance per power and area across various targeted workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Define system, software, hardware requirements and architectural features at both the system and SoC levels, ensuring alignment with product requirements.
- Conduct detailed performance modeling, debugging, and studies to support the integration of new features into the next-generation core microarchitecture, focusing on improvements in performance, area, and power.
- Work alongside design and verification leads to refine specifications, implement features in RTL, and verify microarchitecture to meet targets for functionality performance, frequency, area, power, and verifiability.
- Partner with silicon bring-up and product teams to verify, debug, and optimize the microarchitecture and its performance.
- Write internal and external specifications and technical documentation.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of ARM cores architecture and microarchitecture.
- At least 8 years of proven experience in developing and maintaining complex SoC-based systems.
- Skilled in developing high-level system requirements based on marketing, product, and customer inputs.
- Experienced in breaking down large systems into clearly defined subsystems, modules, and components for straightforward implementation.
- Creative problem solver with the ability to address conflicting requirements, business demands, and technical risks/issues.
- Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills.
