Research Development Team Lead

PlainID, a leading startup, is seeking a backend team leader to join our growing team to improve the end-to-end product features and align the R&D solution to the company business needs and overcome new technology challenges. Our solution is based on Java, Go, and React, moving to SaaS with multi-tenancy based on microservices architecture. We are working in Agile with TDD/BDD and extreme programming processes to complete the end-to-end lifecycle of CI/CD. We're looking for you, to manage and develop the next generation of our leading security product.

What will you do?

· Be a team player and a manager with coding hands-on ability

· Set and meet the performances by KPIs

· Design and develop backend components

· Establish a high-scale multi-tenancy cloud foundation solution

· Work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment where you can learn and mentor your team members

· Manage in full collaboration a feature-team/squad-team with Product Managers, Frontend and Backend Developers, and QA Engineers

Requirements:

· Master/Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering

· At least 3-5 years of experience in team management based on Java or Go solutions - team lead, squad lead, scrum master

· Ability to write and perform architecture documents following best practices

· Ability to write and perform code review with high-performance, maintainable, reusable code in Java and Go

· Proficient with Unix/Linux environment.

· Knowledge and experience of more than 5 years with PostgreSQL.

· Knowledge and experience of more than 5 years with Java Spring or Go.

· Knowledge and experience of more than 5 years with Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, API gateways, and service mesh

· Knowledge and understanding of End-2-End CI/CD process from Git, ArgoCD to production

· Knowledge and understanding of Cloud systems: AWS, GCP, Azure

· Background in Authorization and Authentication processes and experience with IDPs - Advantage

· Deep understanding of Cyber Security domain - Advantage
