Experienced Hardware Integration Engineer

We are looking for a Hardware Integration Engineer to join our growing RnD team.

Part of the responsibilities is working with our vendors on new technologies evaluation within our product, qualification of new products and firmwares, debugging efforts with our vendors on complex problems, and providing hardware-oriented support to L3, manufacturing, QA, IT, etc.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in storage hardware products, such as servers, drives, enclosures and power components.
• Perform new HW component evaluations and qualifications, taking an active part in integrating them into our product.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors worldwide, aiming to improve product quality, and find solutions for complex issues.
• Conducting failure analysis investigations (both internally and with our suppliers), with corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead new and existing hardware projects, constantly learning about new technologies and methodologies.
• Maintain a hardware knowledge base using industrial standard tools (Jira, Google Sheets, etc).
  
  

• At least 5 years of experience in debugging hardware problems (i.e server, BMC, PCIe, IPMI, SAS/SATA/NVME SSDs, JBOD, spinning drives, Infiniband, firmware, PDU, BBU, etc)
• Have strong experience working in a Linux-based environment
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering and computer networking
• Hands-on, with a “can do” attitude, capable of working independently and collaboratively
• Organized, pays attention to small details, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills
• A rich background working in large-scale products
• Experience with Bash/Python scripting - advantage
