A startup in the mobile games industry dedicated to creating engaging and immersive gaming experiences. We are based in Netanya near a train station and seeking a talented and experienced CTO to lead our technology team and drive our company's growth. This is an opportunity to join in a super early stage, and shape the roadmap and the culture. The company is looking to raise a seed investment.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the company's technology strategy and development, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The role will be hands-on at start.
• Team Management: Recruit, hire, and manage a high-performing team of individuals.
• Product Development: Collaborate with product managers and designers to develop innovative and scalable mobile games.
• Technology Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain robust technology infrastructure to support game development and operations.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize game performance, scalability, and user experience across various platforms and devices.
• Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and explore emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage.
• Partner Relationships: Collaborate with third-party vendors and technology partners.

Qualifications

• Proven Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development, with 4+ years in leadership roles within the mobile gaming industry.
• Technical Expertise: Strong technical skills in mobile game development, including proficiency in Unity.
• Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing engineering teams, as the company scales.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
• Innovation: Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest gaming trends and technologies.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Results-Oriented: Proven track record of delivering successful mobile games and achieving business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of game analytics at scale, data-driven development and data modeling
• Experience with microtransactions and monetization strategies
• Experience with live operations and game updates
• All around player that focuses on tech, but can see the big picture
