R&D Engineer

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Research and Development Engineer to join our team, contributing to the development of new ideas and improvement of our cutting-edge endovascular products.

Job Overview:

The Research and Development Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of performance in Endospan’s endovascular devices. This role involves development and testing of new products or existing product improvements. The ideal candidate possessing strong cross-departmental collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Coming up with solutions to improving our endovascular product pipeline

·        Leading engineer change requests

·        Testing prototypes including development of new test methods

·        Generating reports from testing performed

·        Designing of stent grafts, delivery system mechanisms and test fixturing

·        Managing suppliers

·        Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless product development and product improvements.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline.

·        Minimum 1-3 years of R&D experience in medical devices, preferably with cardiovascular or endovascular devices.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

·        Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).

·        Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

·        Good written and spoken English
