Head of SRE

We are seeking an accomplished leader to head our SRE, QA, and 24/7 operational teams. This role is critical to ensuring the stability, reliability, and observability of our SaaS platform across the entire development lifecycle and in customer environments. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to drive improvements in system resilience, minimize incidents, and enhance overall platform stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute a strategy focused on system stability, reliability, and observability, partnering with R&D, Product, and Support to align with business objectives.
• Implement and maintain metrics and KPIs that measure and ensure platform reliability and service quality.
• Develop tools and processes that prevent incidents, improve system stability, and enable efficient incident response and resolution.
• Lead and mentor SRE, QA, and NOC teams across multiple regions, ensuring high performance and the continuous development of team members.
• Oversee the SRE function with a focus on fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and service scalability, driving improvements in system performance.
• Implement advanced observability practices, including proactive monitoring, early detection, and effective incident management, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid recovery.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in QA and operational roles within the high-tech/SaaS industry, with at least 3 years in SRE.
• Proven expertise in building resilient, stable systems with a focus on observability and reliability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and observability frameworks.
• Strong background in cloud (AWS), and coding experience in Java and Python.
• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Fluent in English and Hebrew, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
