Experience developing systems that include motors, various mechanisms, robotics, plastics, electronic packaging, etc.
Knowledge in various manufacturing processes: machining, turning, sheet metal
Proficiency and understanding of development processes, out-of-the-box thinking, ability to see the bigger picture and the overall requirements of the system.
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
B.Sc. in mechanical engineering.
3-4 years of proven experience as a mechanical designer.
Knowledge and experience working with SolidWorks – mandatory.
Experience working with subcontractors.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in design, engineering, and manufacturing environments of multi-disciplinary products.
Strong knowledge and understanding of mass production processes.
Experience in SolidWorks.
Experience designing for plastic injection process – Must.
Experience designing jigs for experiments and assembly lines.
Familiar with standardization and QA processes.
