Job Title: Capital Markets and Liquidity Innovation

Aleph is a leading venture capital fund based in Tel Aviv. We are committed to partnering with founders to build meaningful companies and help them navigate the complexities of the capital markets. 

In light of changes in public markets and in approaches to market liquidity, we aim to bolster our support by helping our portfolio companies connect with public market investors, sharpen their investment narratives, and innovate liquidity solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Capital Markets person to join our team. The person will report to the General Partners. This role is pivotal in assisting our portfolio companies to:

• Position Themselves for Public Markets: Guide founders in preparing for IPOs or other liquidity events by refining their stories and aligning them with investor expectations.
• Enhance Investor Engagement: Maintain and build relationships with investors, bankers, and other liquidity providers to facilitate successful market entries.
• Innovate Liquidity Solutions: Develop and implement creative strategies to provide liquidity options for our portfolio companies in a challenging market environment.
• Strengthen Financial Foundations: Utilize advanced financial modeling to support valuations and strategic decision-making.

• Collaborate with founders to develop compelling investment narratives.
• Innovate and propose alternative liquidity solutions for portfolio companies.
• Prepare and refine financial models to support company valuations and growth strategies.
• Develop and maintain ongoing communication with public market investors, bankers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide strategic advice on market positioning, investor expectations, and liquidity strategies.
• Organize investor meetings, presentations, and roadshows.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to portfolio companies.
• Stay abreast of emerging liquidity mechanisms and assess their applicability to our portfolio.

What this role isn’t: Venture Capital investing, nor is it a path to become one.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Philosophy accepted as well.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in investment banking, private equity or sell-side Analyst, financial consulting, or a related field.
• Important Skills:
• Financial Modeling: Expertise in creating and analyzing complex financial models.
• Liquidity Innovation: Ability to develop and implement innovative liquidity solutions.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills.
• Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks.
• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of capital markets, IPO processes, investor relations, and liquidity mechanisms.
