The Opportunity:

We're looking for a visionary Tech Lead to play a crucial role in driving our software development efforts. This isn’t just a typical lead position; it’s an opportunity to shape GenieLabs' technological future, with the potential to lead our R&D team as we grow. You’ll work directly with the founders to design and build the core infrastructure of our product, making an indelible impact on our company and the gaming industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Mentor: Guide a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and growth-oriented environment.
• Drive Development: Oversee the design, development, and scaling of our SaaS platform to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Innovate: Research and implement new generative AI-driven tools and features that address evolving user needs.
• Collaborate: Work cross-functionally to ensure cohesive solutions that meet both technical and user demands.
• Ownership: Take full accountability for projects from conception through deployment and maintenance.

Key Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years in SaaS development, with at least 2+ years leading teams.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of AWS and cloud-native development, with strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React for complex frontend work. Proficiency in Python and backend development.
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record in leading teams, managing projects, and delivering robust software solutions.
• Passion for Innovation: Genuine interest in generative AI and a drive to explore its applications in the gaming industry.
