Embedded Software Engineer

A large and well-known defense company is seeking a Real-time Embedded Engineer. The position involves working on integrations and collaborations with various disciplines, including hardware, firmware, algorithms, and more.

The engineer will contribute to the development of software-intensive embedded systems that are multidisciplinary, present engineering challenges, and feature multiple interfaces, all of which play a vital role in national security.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering.
• M.Sc. – an advantage.
• Software Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in development, with an emphasis on software-intensive, multidisciplinary systems.
• Experience in software development in C++ on Win, VxWorks, Linux environments, and running on ARM and Intel processors – an advantage.
• Experience in software design and development using Object-Oriented methodologies.
• Experience in Embedded systems development – an advantage.
• Experience and familiarity with AGILE software development methodologies – an advantage.
