Automation Engineer

A high-tech company that develops advanced financial services for end customers and international financial institutions. They have developed a digital account application aimed at underserved populations, such as foreign workers and other marginalized groups in Israeli society, who are not adequately served by the existing financial system.

The company is funded by investors with very strong financial backing and does not rely on investor money, with tens of thousands of active customers.

Located in Tel Aviv, they offer one work-from-home day per week, and the team consists of around 90 employees, including 17 in R&D.

The role includes building processes, improving existing infrastructures, and developing new ones. It requires logical thinking, independence, and leadership. You will be the sole automation function in the company, working as part of the QA team.

Responsibilities include automation development for Mobile, Web, and integration—80% automation development and 20% manual testing. They primarily write in Java and JavaScript (you can come from any language), mainly focusing on the Server side, in a Linux environment, running on AWS, and working with MySQL.

Requirements-

• 2-3 years Automation experience is required.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript).

• Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA).

• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Experience with native mobile application testing

• Relevant education: Computer Science/Industrial Engineering or professional courses.

• Familiarity with API testing

• Analytical mind.

• Linux experience - an advantage.

• Experience in developing Automation infrastructure from scratch - an advantage.
