NodeJS Developer

A B2B startup in the Data Intelligence field, developing and selling technologies that collect data from open sources across the web (on users, companies, etc.) and manage and analyze it intelligently. For example, a bank working with a new client can perform background checks using their innovative system.

The company has large, active, and paying clients, offering an excellent opportunity to join at a growth stage with significant technological challenges.

Located in Tel Aviv, near a train station, the company operates exclusively from the office and currently has around 15 employees.

Tech stack: TypeScript, React, Redux, Graph, API, JavaScript, NodeJS, SQL, NoSQL, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Python, Monorepo.

Job description: Reporting to the CTO, the role is part of the team and involves 100% Server-side development using NodeJS and TypeScript in a GCP environment, with significant work involving databases.

Responsibilities:

• Code Optimization: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to ensure optimal performance and scalability of the applications.
• Database Integration: Utilize your SQL database knowledge to create and optimize database schemas, write complex queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Performance Monitoring: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues within the backend systems.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of the codebase.
• Plan and design infrastructure for new modules and features, document it and divide responsibilities between several developers.

Requirements:

• 6 years of hands-on experience in Software Development, with proficiency in Node.JS and Typescript.
• Deep understanding of various databases (SQL, NoSQL) with 3 years of experience in designing and optimizing database schemas.
• Experience in working with microservices architecture patterns, principles, and best practices, including implementing messaging brokers for communication.
• Full proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes is required, with experience of 4+ years.
• Controlling the ecosystem of noad.js environments with an understanding of Monorepo and Package Management.
• The position involves coordination and mediation between internal functions and requires strong detection and problem-solving skills.
