DevOps Team Lead

As a global company, it operates from its headquarters and development center in Israel, from its U.S. headquarters, and with additional offices in Europe, Asia Pacific, and Japan. The company employs approximately 2,500 people.

Responsibility

• Responsible for recruiting, leading, mentoring, and fostering the personal and professional growth of team members.
• Oversees the development and ongoing enhancement of tools, services, SDKs, and libraries critical to the development teams, ensuring they align with the company’s platform, security policies, audit systems, and processes.
• Focuses on improving the developer experience by creating a seamless, simple, and scalable development environment.
• Leads efforts to design and maintain infrastructure capable of addressing significant scalability challenges, ensuring system resilience and supporting large-scale operations.
• Actively participates in design reviews and ensures continuous improvement in the team’s skills and knowledge.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop enterprise DevOps platforms and tools aimed at boosting R&D velocity, reducing lead times, and enhancing product quality.
• Facilitates the troubleshooting of platform and service issues across various applications, domains, and platforms.
• Ensures that the team remains aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.

Requirements-

• 6 years of hands-on experience working as a Software, DevOps, or Infrastructure Developer
• 3 years of experience in a team lead or management role
• Significant development experience with the following: Python, Groovy, or equivalent
• Deep knowledge and experience in cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Containers and Orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD Tools and Configuration Management Systems
• Experience in the creation of highly automated Infrastructures - as code
• Excellent design and analytical skills
• Know your way around the open-source community
