A Day in the Life

Technician Support in the Lamps Department:

You will provide technical support in areas such as maintenance, production, and operations.

You will perform a series of activities in manufacturing IR sources.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

You will perform a variety of duties in the mechanical, vacuum, and testing areas.

You will troubleshoot, adjust, test, and maintain vacuum equipment and other components, devices, or systems.

You will use diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on vacuum or mechanical components, equipment, or systems.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Education: Technical school. Requires basic job knowledge of systems, techniques and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
• Experience: 3-5 years on manufacturing
• Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Mechanical skills, ability to perform manual delicate operations, perform routine operations consistently.
• Obtains and provides technical information requiring some explanation or interpretation.
• Office
