Medical Device /Laboratory Technician

Ceretrieve is a medical device start-up company developing an innovative neurovascular system, seeking a skilled, hands-on, and detail-oriented Medical Device Assembly Technician/laboratory technician to take an active part in the company's mission to improve stroke treatment.

Job Description

• Assemble medical devices and components following detailed work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure all assembly tasks are performed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct visual and functional inspections of assembled components to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and report any defects, deviations, or non-conformities during the assembly process.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of assembly tools, equipment, and workstations to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness.
• Working in a Clean Room (ISO Class 7 level) including, cleaning procedures, monitoring, and maintenance of the clean room environment.
• Accurately complete and maintain assembly records, logs, and documentation required for traceability and quality assurance.

Job Requirements

• Education: Technical training or certification in the medical device assembly/laboratory technician or other related field is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in clean room assembly, medical device manufacturing, or a similar role is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, microscopes, and precision assembly equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Clean Room Experience: Familiarity with clean room protocols, practices, and requirements. Experience working in ISO class 7 or 8 clean rooms is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
