Job Description:

• The role entails the development of production processes and the management of scale up activity up to the point of transitioning the activity to operation.
• capacity to engage in scientific research, encompassing the planning of experiments, analysis of results, conclusion drawing, and proficient presentation of findings to grant bodies in Israel and international grant programs.
• Responsibility for managing the product's development process from the conceptual stage to its entry into the market.
• The development process includes production processes, characterization, and formulation of plant proteins.
• Understanding and adhering to regulatory requirements, ensuring product quality, suitability for the market, and protecting intellectual property rights. Familiarity with and compliance with regulatory requirements, quality, suitability for the market and intellectual property.
• The role entails collaborating with suppliers and partners, including academic institutions, as well as managing a team.

Job Requirements:

• Biotechnology Engineering/Food Engineering - mandatory.
• Master's degree or higher - an advantage.
• Experience in developing raw materials for the food industry, as well as developing the production processes until reaching the final product.
• Experience in developing plant-based proteins - an advantage.
• Experience in submitting cases to regulatory authorities in Israel and around the world.
• Experience and managerial ability/leading a team - mandatory.
• High scientific abilities, self-learning ability, punctuality, thoroughness, and excellent human relations are mandatory.
