What You Will Do?

We are on the lookout for an experienced Test Automation Engineer who will spearhead our efforts in automated testing. This role involves crafting and executing innovative automated testing solutions to enhance our software quality and optimize testing workflows, all of this in an environment rich with hardware and software (IoT).

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft Automation Strategies: Develop comprehensive strategies and frameworks to streamline and improve testing procedures.
• Implement Automated Tests: Create and execute automated test cases to ensure thorough validation of software functionality.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the development teams to pinpoint automation opportunities.
• Lead the automation efforts: We are looking for someone to build the initial infrastructure of our automated tests to improve product quality.
• Stay up-to-date with latest advancements and best practices in QA automation.
• Analyze and Report: Review test outcomes and engage with stakeholders to maintain high software quality.
• Task Management: Oversee and prioritize automation tasks to align with project timelines.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will bring a robust background in software testing and automation, Specific qualifications include:

• Automation Expertise: Demonstrated experience in QA automation, including framework design and implementation.
• Programming Proficiency: Strong skills in programming languages such as Bash, Java, JavaScript or Python (preferable).
• Tool Familiarity: Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or equivalent.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Bilingual Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while delivering top-quality results.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is advantageous.
• Additional Experience: Familiarity with Cloud platforms, CI/CD and Agile/Scrum practices is a plus.
• Test automation experience with IoT platforms, including Embedded Software testing (high level application) - big advantage.
• Strong leadership abilities - big advantage.
