Vice President Marketing

One of our clients, a startup in the quantum computing field, is looking to recruit a VP of Marketing. This company has developed a platform that significantly improves the performance and efficiency of quantum experiments and computations, enabling clients to optimize their work, save time, and reduce resources, leading to enhanced research and development outcomes.

The company has experienced rapid growth, attracting hundreds of customers worldwide and securing substantial financial backing from top-tier investors. With $100 million raised in funding, the company remains at the forefront of quantum computing innovation, offering advanced solutions to a diverse global customer base.

We are looking to recruit a VP of Marketing – a critical role for the company's success. This position will report to the Chief Business Officer (CBO).

Responsibilities:

• Field Marketing: Manage a team that develops and implements regional marketing programs, events, and initiatives in collaboration with sales teams to drive localized demand, increase customer engagement, and support business growth in targeted geographic areas.
• Demand Generation: Drive lead generation and customer acquisition through targeted marketing campaigns, digital marketing, and content marketing initiatives.
• Product Marketing: Collaborate with product and solution teams to create compelling product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies highlighting the unique value proposition.
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a marketing strategy that aligns with growth objectives and enhances brand presence in the quantum computing industry.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and business decisions.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team.
• Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to the executive team.
• Brand Development: Elevate brand identity and positioning, ensuring consistency across all channels and communications.

Requirements:

• Academic background in a technological field that enables you to handle the complexity of the product – a degree in physics is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Experience in managing a marketing team for at least 3 years.
• Experience with multidisciplinary products that integrate hardware is a significant advantage and will greatly ease your transition into the role.
• Experience in development, project management, or managing a technological product is an advantage.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, content marketing, field marketing, and data analytics, with strong budget management skills.
