DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our office in Tel Aviv.

In this role, you will be responsible for accommodating and anticipating the developers’ needs, providing support, infrastructure, deployment automation, and technical guidance as needed. We constantly look for ways to improve the developer experience, release infrastructure, and automation.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Nimble, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including multi-cloud, database, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, containerization and more. Your primary challenge will be to manage complicated, global, open-source infrastructure and maintain high availability for production. You will join a highly skilled team-lead and together you’ll strive to research and implement the most innovative technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop DevOps tools, CI\CD pipelines and automate processes for configuration, deployment and maintenance of our complex cloud environments on AWS.
• Take full end-to-end responsibility for the production environment of our SaaS product deployed on cloud
• Manage our production Kubernetes clusters and micro-services using the latest technologies like Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform and more.
• Collaborate with R&D engineering teams to ensure infrastructure and pipeline are optimized for high availability and scalability.
• Support development projects, developers and troubleshoot system integrations
• Build tools to monitor and reduce the occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Build and Improve CI/CD tools integration/operations, and full automation of CI/testing
• Automate solutions and environment setup
• Design and apply high-scalability solutions
  
  

• 5+ years as DevOps Engineer (or equal role) with a passion for technology and strong motivation and responsibility for high reliability and service level
• High proficiency with Linux
• Proficiency in public cloud environment
• Proficiency with Terraform
• High proficiency with virtualized and containerized environments (Kubernetes and Docker)
• Proficiency with CI/CD and Configuration Management (Jenkins preferred)
• Proficiency with DB such as Cassandra, ScyllaDB, MemSQL, MySQL - An advantage
• Experience with working with internal and external customers and stakeholders
• Managing a high-scale production environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work and coordinate between multiple teams
