A Day in the Life

Execute operational support and supervision related to Spine Operational Activities at 3PL Facility. Analyze data and participate in process improvement to ensure operational excellence in serving our patients with Medtronic products and therapies.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Supervising 3PL Spine Operations on all processes starting from receiving, incoming inspection, cleaning, replenishment, shipment and cycle count of spine sets, instruments and implants
• Following up both structural and ad-hoc issues at 3PL Spine Operations, if needed making connections with applicable functions in Medtronic for resolution
• Building relationships with various departments including Spine Operating Unit, Customer Care, Regulatory and Quality as applicable for ease of operations
• Reporting and evaluating on KPI performance levels of 3PL as per Service Level Agreements together with departmental management
• Controlling financials of the operation as per existing contracts and agreements with 3PL
• Driving process improvements where applicable with Lean Sigma methodology
• Maintaining SAP system and/or other business support system knowledge at Key User level to support 3PL Operations
• Complying with the Medtronic's Quality Management System and Quality Objectives to ensure Put Patients First
  
  

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in Logistics operations
• Preference to Bachelor’s/masters level
• Excellent command of English (reading, writing & speaking)
• Good system knowledge (SAP & Microsoft office applications)
• QA focused
• Experience in Logistics Operations in medical devices/pharmaceutical sector
• Excellent communication skills

Travel required for process trainings at European Operations Center of Medtronic; Position is based both at 3PL facility and Medtronic Office.
