Design Assurance Manager

We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Assurance Manager for our Quality department in Yokneam Ilit. This role is critical in leading the development of cutting-edge clinical and surgical instruments, including embedded and application software. As a key member of our team, you will ensure Integra LifeSciences deliver world-class products that improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy: Lead the Design Assurance Engineering team, aligning resources, processes, and tools to support product development and commercialization. Develop strategic plans and budgets, assess skill needs, manage talent acquisition, and guide performance management.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and assess technology trends to enhance key focus areas such as Risk Management, Product Usability, and Design Controls. Guide and participate in design reviews and project teams, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaboration & Influence: Work closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, and cross-functional leaders to unify processes, optimize workflows, and ensure alignment with business and R&D strategic objectives. Foster effective relationships with software, mechanical, systems, and electrical engineering teams to deliver comprehensive product solutions.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, promoting technical and process excellence. Manage performance and provide ongoing development opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Operational Management: Oversee resource allocation to meet dynamic business needs. Contribute to yearly budgeting and resource planning to support the organization’s growth. Lead process improvements to enhance the team's capabilities and drive project success.

Qualifications:

• Education: BS in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline. MS preferred.
• Industrial experience in product development, design transfer, and verification/validation.
• Experience leading engineering teams in product development.
• Experience in regulated environments.
• Proven expertise in Design Assurance, Risk Management, and design control processes.
