Senior Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Controller to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of HUB Security, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial management. This role demands a proactive leader with a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
• Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and scenario planning to inform long-term strategic planning.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish and track budgets.
• Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities to ensure financial stability and growth.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation in financial processes and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.
• Communicate financial results, trends, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with external partners, including auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, as well as CPA or CMA certification, is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial regulations.
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
