Desktop L1 Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Desktop Support L1 Engineer to provide onsite End-User Computing (EUC) L1 support at our Kiryat Gat location. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in technical support, working directly with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues. This is an onsite freelance position requiring a work permit in Israel, and we are not providing visa sponsorship.

• Deliver End-User Computing (EUC) L1 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and essential software for users.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN) and escalate complex issues when required.
• Set up, configure, and deploy IT equipment for new hires and existing users, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Provide onsite and remote support to users, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Document support activities and resolutions in the company’s ticketing system.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless end-user support and issue resolution.

• 3+ years of experience in desktop support or a similar technical support role, specifically EUC L1 Support.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for both hardware and software issues.
• Work permit to work in Israel (we are not providing visa sponsorship).
• B2 level language proficiency in English (or another relevant language).
• Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent are a plus.
