Production Planner

We are looking for a highly qualified Production Planner who will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining production plans to meet customer demands and optimize operational efficiency. The role requires close collaboration with various departments, including procurement, production, and sales, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that production timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet business requirements.
• Oversee the execution of production and procurement plans to ensure alignment with established schedules.
• Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to address fluctuations in customer demand or production capacity.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
• Analyze and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock without overproduction or obsolescence.
• Actively develop measures to improve planning accuracy through process and system optimizations.
• Manage raw materials inventory to meet accurate planning and coordinating procurement requirements with the Purchasing Manager.
• Ensure efficient use of resources and minimize production downtime.
• Work closely to Sales and analyze sales forecasts and translate them into production plans.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and communicate changes effectively across departments.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries to customers.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience as Production Planner, preferably in the flavors or food manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP Priority (Industrial) system and production planning tools - a must.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Master in Excel.
• Proficiency in English
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in the flavors or food manufacturing sector - an advantage.
