Manual Software Quality Assurance (QA)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Software Quality Assurance (QA) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through comprehensive manual testing. Your keen eye for detail and ability to identify issues will help us deliver a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Test Planning: Develop and document detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and user stories.
• Manual Testing: Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications, identify and report defects, and ensure their resolution.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in review meetings, contribute to process improvements, and suggest enhancements to testing methodologies and tools.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency with Postman for API testing.
• High technical skills and ability to understand complex technical concepts.
