Role Overview: As an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting both mechanical and electronic assemblies within our products. The role combines mechanical assembly skills, wiring, and fiber routing, with a strong understanding of electronic systems. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and enjoy working with mechanical and electronic technologies, this role is ideal.

Responsibilities:

●    Assemble & Build: Perform accurate assembly of electro-mechanical systems, including wiring, soldering, fiber routing and definition of procedures for automation of test software, based on detailed schematics and engineering drawings.

●    Inspect & Test: Conduct comprehensive inspections and testing of mechanical and electronic assemblies to ensure product functionality and adherence to quality standards.

●    Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve issues related to both mechanical and electronic assemblies during production and testing stages.

●    Work closely with engineering, R&D, and production teams to improve assembly processes and provide input on design and product development.

●    Document & Maintain: Maintain accurate records of assembly procedures, test results, modifications, and any repairs performed on products.

Qualifications:

●    Experience in electro-mechanical assembly, with proficiency in both mechanical and electronic components.

●    Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents.

●    Hands-on experience with soldering, wiring, and using electronic test equipment.

●    Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

●    Optical knowledge is an advantage, including experience with optical fibers or working with optical

systems.  

●    Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
