We are seeking a part-time Software Test Intern to join our software development team working on a sophisticated Cardiac Mapping and Ablation System. You will play an essential role in the development of medical devices by testing the software embedded in a diagnostic and interventional cardiology system. Your responsibilities will include testing various components of the system, such as the user interface, business logic, data management, communication protocols, and algorithms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual and automated tests in a lab/simulator environment.
- Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and system engineering teams both locally and globally.
- Support root cause analysis, troubleshoot issues, and isolate faults.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining laboratory equipment for testing purposes.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bio-science degree program or an equivalent field, with at least one year of studies remaining.
- Minimum of 1 year of software testing experience – mandatory.
- Strong ability to understand requirements and design effective tests.
- Familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with critical thinking and a strong passion for testing.
- Fluent in English.
