Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to spearhead the design, implementation, and management of data infrastructure for Cloudzone's clients, ensuring top-notch performance scalability and governance. The perfect candidate possesses a solid background in data engineering, hands-on expertise with cutting-edge data technologies, and the ability to lead and mentor a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive data architectures that meet customer business requirements and support data-driven decision-making.
• Serve as the technical lead for customer data projects, guiding team members and ensuring best practices are adhered to.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all customer systems.
• Lead the implementation of data warehouses, data lakes, and other storage solutions for customers.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to support customer data integration and transformation.
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for customer data issues.
• Engage in pre-sales activities, demonstrating the value of Cloudzone’s data solutions to potential clients.

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong understanding of data management, integration, and architecture.
• At least two years of hands-on experience with data technologies such as SQL, NoSQL databases, ETL tools, and big data platforms.
• Proven experience as a tech lead, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and other GCP data services.
• Versatile and adaptable, capable of working on multiple projects and switching contexts as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about data solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in pre-sales activities is a plus.
• Technical Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
• Experience with machine learning and advanced analytics.
