Assistant Fianacial Controller for a Public Company

About the role:

The Assistant Controller will report directly to the Corporate Controller and

play a key role in the global accounting function. The Assistant Controller will

assist in the monthly close of the general ledger, consolidation, and reporting

of financial results, as well as support the annual audit and the optimization of

processes and internal controls. The successful candidate will be detail-

oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a

fast-paced environment.

Here's what you'll be working on:

 Assist in the monthly close process, including preparation of account

reconciliations and financial reporting

 Support the preparation of financial statements and disclosures

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and

completeness of financial data

 Help maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial procedures

 Assist with the annual audit process

 Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and

effectiveness of accounting operations

 Prepare an annual statutory financial statement, tax returns, and other

reports to the authorities

 Be involved in the data automation process and well as other ad hoc

projects, as required

Requirements

 CPA with Big 4 experience - a must

 Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS - a must.

 Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

 Fluent English

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
