BI Team Leader

You are responsible for

• Manage the Data Engineers in order to deliver effective Business Intelligence Analytics & Reporting
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Take ownership of the data warehouse and data integrity loaded into it
• Monitor the development and maintenance of the ETL processes
• Design data warehouse, including staging, fact, dimensions, and data models and reports in the semantic layer
• Manage the quality of code within the BI team
• Set team objectives and monitor progress towards achieving them
• Coach and mentor the Data Engineers
• Manage own professional and self-development
• Provide technical assistance as necessary to end-users as well as development staff  

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of management experience 
•  Experience with BI tools – with Microsoft tools.
• Knowledge of relational databases, ETL, data warehouses, and analytics 
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools, concepts and architecture 
• Knowledge of BI Stack, PowerBI / Fabric 
• SQL
• Experience with source control systems (TFS, Git, or other) 
• Python - advantage
• DAX – strong advantage
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Goal-oriented, organized team player
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
• English verbal and written communication skills
