Head of Global Shipping

Our Missile and space systems division is looking for a Head of Global Shipping!

What will you do:

• Responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipments, both domestically and internationally, from the initiation stage to final delivery to the customer.
• Work closely with business project managers, engineers, cataloguers, and various departments, including shipping, quality, finance, and others.
• Intensive work with information systems (SAP).
• Process analysis, definition, and documentation of procedures and work instructions.
• Consolidation of all performance metrics, work processes, and project execution.
• Management of a team of employees and various work interfaces.

What We're Looking For:

Mandatory Requirements:

• Israeli citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in global shipping.
• Experience managing global shipping in an export company targeting various international markets, including experience with sea and air shipping, as well as project management.
• Experience managing at least three direct employees and matrix management of at least eight employees.
• High-level proficiency in OFFICE applications.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, Priority, and SAP.
• High-level English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).

Additional Criteria:

• MBA or master’s degree in Business Administration/Logistics.
• Experience working with the SAP system and the MM module.
• Experience working with third-party logistics (TPL).
