We are looking for a Head of Design & UX to lead our design team. You’ll have the opportunity to make a huge impact by leading a team that creates products that are used by millions of people around the world, and marketing materials to support the growth of the Moovit brand worldwide.

Moovit’s UX and Design team is responsible for designing the most popular mobility app in the world. From concept, brainstorming, prototyping, UX specs all the way to development and testing. In addition, the team is also responsible for Moovit’s brand and marketing designs activities which includes growth activities, user communications and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Lead our products UX & design lifecycle, bringing thought leadership and inspiration and guiding designers to create an innovative and flawless UX.
• Lead, manage, inspire and develop a team of designers.
• Setting clear goals, managing project loads and allocating designers accordingly, ensuring deadlines are met and setting up team members for overall success.
• Guide the team to develop best practices for ensuring a high bar of quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, delivery, marketing and sales to ensure a smooth product development process.
• Recruit new designers and actively participate in the hiring process.
• Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years industry experience in a people management role on a Design team.
• Minimum 7 years of design experience with hands-on UX experience.
• Provent Experience with consumer-facing mobile apps design and complex SaaS platforms.
• A portfolio of work that contains examples of Interaction (UX) Design and Visual Systems Development for digital applications that work in different platforms.
• Knowledge of design principles related to branding, marketing, and publishing with knowledge of UX design, information hierarchy, user-flow, and typography.
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, UX patterns, techniques, and technologies.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experienced with conducting usability sessions with real users - Advantage.
• Experience in design tools such as Sketch, Zeplin, Figma, Principle etc.
• Animation and motion graphics design - advantage.
