We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our research team!

The Beaconcure Research Team discovers, develops, and implements Beaconcure's core technology using available and novel solutions in multiple fields, including Natural Language Processing (NLP), computer vision, and tabular data processing. Role Overview

In this challenging role on the Beaconcure Research Team, you will research and develop NLP and tabular data analysis solutions using cutting-edge technology and deep learning models. You will dive deep into our data, analyze patterns, improve our current solutions, suggest creative approaches to new problems, conduct fast POCs, and integrate your solutions into our product.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, DevOps engineers, and domain experts, to integrate the research solutions into production
• Stay updated on the latest developments in NLP and tabular data analysis, and apply state-of-the-art techniques to solve specific business problems
• Design, develop, and implement NLP and tabular data algorithms utilizing our unique clinical data
• Work with large datasets, clean and preprocess data, and develop pipelines for data extraction and transformation
• Build, fine-tune, and evaluate machine learning models for NLP tasks and tabular data, such as text classification, named entity recognition, and generative AI for text and tabular data
• Help lead the technical roadmap development and assist team members with implementation and research

Requirements

• An M.S. or Ph.D. in computer science or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of industry experience in NLP and/or tabular data processing
• 3+ years of experience in Deep Learning algorithms
• Vast experience in deep learning and in classical NLP (for example, sequence-to-sequence models, Transformers, NLTK, and spaCy)
• Strong coding skills in Python and in frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Proven track record of delivering AI-powered projects
• Organized and self-disciplined, with the ability to work independently
• A team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
• Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, research-driven environment
• Excellent English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Familiarity with cloud-based NLP services and platforms is an added advantage
• Experience in Generative NLP or Generative tabular data is an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Weekly day range: Sunday to Thursday

Work Location: Hybrid from Israel
