Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Director of Investor Outreach and Fundraising with a passion for the Web3 space and a strong network of connections within the investment community. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of raising capital for tech companies, preferably in the Web3 ecosystem, and be skilled at engaging with VCs, angel investors, and other key stakeholders.

This role requires a proactive, driven individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is motivated by results. You will be responsible for leading fundraising efforts, managing investor relations, and building long-term relationships with key investors to fuel our company’s growth. As part of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping our capital strategy and ensuring the company’s financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the company’s fundraising efforts by identifying, reaching out to, and securing investments from VCs, angel investors, and other key stakeholders in the Web3 and tech ecosystems.
• Develop and execute fundraising strategies, including investor pitch decks, presentations, and financial models.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors, keeping them informed about the company’s progress, vision, and strategic direction.
• Collaborate with the executive team to define and implement the company's capital strategy.
• Oversee all investor communications, ensuring transparent and consistent engagement.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, especially in Web3 and blockchain technology, to align our fundraising efforts with market opportunities.
• Work closely with legal and finance teams to manage due diligence, negotiations, and closing processes for funding rounds.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of raising capital for tech companies, with a strong preference for experience in the Web3 ecosystem.
• Extensive network of VCs, angel investors, and other investment community members with a focus on Web3 and blockchain technology.
• In-depth knowledge of Web3, blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and tokenomics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and drive results.
• Strong strategic thinking and financial acumen.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation:

This role offers a performance-based compensation structure, where payment is tied to the successful completion of fundraising milestones. As a contract position, compensation will be provided upon the successful completion of our capital raise, with opportunities for additional bonuses based on the success of fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with this milestone-based payment structure.
