Java Infrastructures Team Leader

The R&D Platforms Group is responsible for developing Skybox software infrastructure including its microservices architecture and underlying services, SaaS platform and a diverse set of technologies. The development environment is a Java/Springboot/Linux based.

We are looking for a highly motivated, sharp and hands-on Team Leader, to lead and manage a development team of Server-Side software engineers. This role offers challenges across a wide variety of responsibilities. You will have an opportunity to influence the future direction of the group and gain experience in a wide range of technologies.

The Job Main Responsibilities Are

• Lead and inspire a team of top-notch Software and QA engineers, responsible for enriching and improving our modeling capabilities.
• Maintain at least 40% hands-on contribution.
• Design and implement solutions for collecting data from network devices, security and cloud ecosystems into our platform
• Responsible for delivery of multiple complex simultaneous development projects from design through to release
• Capable of understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level with emphasis on performance, scalability and concurrency
• Design and implement solutions for integration of IT service management systems with Skybox platform
• Bring new technologies and concepts into the Skybox platform to address challenges of modern network architectures
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent experience
• 3 years of server-side development experience in Java
• At least 3 years of experience as a Team Leader (2-3 team members)
• Highly proficient in software architecture and OOP principles
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, using CI/CD processes
• Experience in working with Hibernate, Spring, REST API
• Experience in working in public cloud environment (AWS)
• Excellent inter-personal skills
• Having a customer-oriented attitude
• Linux/UNIX command line experience
