Senior Manager, Software Architecture

NVIDIA is looking for a Switch Software Architect to lead the shaping of future data centers and networks. You will lead in defining the future of our switch operating system and open-source projects. Switch Software Architects represent NVIDIA in open-source projects, conferences, and standard bodies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the architecture of switch operating systems, define their long-term vision and path to get there.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies, innovations, and differentiators for NVIDIA solutions.
• Lead and guide architects to design networking and routing capabilities on NVIDIA switches.
• Outbound work includes customer engagements, publishing white papers, blogs, RFCs, and conference lectures/BOFs.
• Help define a strategic vision for NVIDIA networking together with adjacent software and hardware architects.
  
  

• B.Sc/M.Sc. Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 12+ years of proven experience in software architecture and management roles
• Expert level knowledge in Ethernet/IP technologies.
• Experience in defining cloud data-center network design.
• Proven record to stay ahead of technology envelope, dabble into new technologies to develop practical applications and generate innovative ideas.
• Clear verbal and written communication with consistent record to build consensus within a large organization
  
  

• Demonstrated ability to develop networking appliance software.
• Experienced with data-center design and technologies.
