A technology startup developing 3D systems for the fashion industry. The product is a design software for designers and textile companies worldwide, allowing them to efficiently and conveniently design their clothing lines by providing highly realistic simulations of garments on the body. This helps save time, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.

For example, a company with 400 designers may offer thousands of items per season, but only 10%-15% of them go into production.

Their goal is to enable more precise clothing production based on customer demands without needing to physically produce the items (e.g., elasticity, fabric thickness, how the fabric wrinkles or folds, how it looks after extensive use, etc.).

Located in the Sharon region, they operate on a hybrid model with two work-from-home days. The company has about 200 employees globally, 70 of whom are based in Israel. Their clients are the top designers at leading global fashion companies.

The role is part of a team and involves working across all stages from Research to Production in the 3D field, coding in C++ and Python, working with ML/DL, and engaging in various 3D-related tasks, including Vision, Generative Models, text-to-3D, 3D simulations, modeling, visualization, computational geometry, linear algebra, mathematical tools, and mathematical concepts, all in a data-intensive environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize advanced 3D algorithms for modeling, visualization, and computational geometry.
• Conduct numerical analysis to improve the accuracy and performance of the simulation engine.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, designers, and product managers, to integrate and implement innovative 3D technology solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in 3D algorithms, machine learning, AI, and related fields, incorporating new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining high standards of code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the 3D simulation engine, providing timely solutions to maintain seamless operation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience solving complex problems, developing, and choosing appropriate solutions.
• Proficiency with mathematical tools and concepts.
• Experience in Linear Algebra.
• Degree in exact science or engineering.
• Strong experience in C/C++ programming.
• Experience in 3D algorithms, modeling, visualization, and computational geometry.
• Experience in machine learning or deep learning.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
