Research Assistant

A 4-year position. Responsible for an EC Horizon project based on our proprietary electrolateral flow immunosensor. The candidate is responsible to develop a quantitative test for stroke biomarkers. Some travel is expected by the candidate to our consortium members' laboratories (Spain) and hospitals (Sweden).

Responsibilities

1. Design new electrolateral flow configuration prototype keeping in mind manufacturing needs
2. Produce a series of iterations of the said prototype
3. Produce and optimize gold nanoparticles functionalized with antibodies and electro-active molecules
4. Validate prototype kits with clinical samples that were tested using standard clinical tests
5. A series of publications are expected (reviews, research papers, etc)
6. If and when relevant participating in composing IP filings
7. Participating in raising further funding via research grant submissions
8. Depending on seniority and capability, managerial position in running a team possible

Qualifications
