Payment Processing Specialist

yad2's Payment Operations is responsible for providing solutions to assist in facilitating transactions for our users and clients. This role requires the ability to work in a complex, cross-functional environment, dealing with diverse challenges and solving complex problems. The responsibility includes leading cross-organizational tasks, using systems thinking, and high organizational skills. The ability to simplify complex problems into clear action plans is essential. The role demands intellectual curiosity and building proficiency in all aspects of operations, including finance, legal, privacy, data protection, and security requirements.

What you will be doing:

• Help establish and develop yad2’s payments team, which plays a central role in yad2’s strategy

• Oversee the preparation and processing of payments and reports

• Administer the accounts payable process by supervising and uploading payment transactions, tracking transactions, and compiling financial data essential for the business

• Generate reports from various systems and cross-referencing information

• Conduct business analysis to support business decisions around new financial services

• Establish procedures and work processes in the payments domain

• Manage day-to-day relationships with payment vendor and resolve any issues that arise, ensuring smooth financial operations

• Prepare documentation for processing and assist the finance and service departments in payment disputes

• Conduct investigations on various issues, including suspected fraud

• Work with different interfaces within the organization

Your skills & experience:

• Bachelor/MBA in Finance, Business Administration or related field

• Minimum of two years experience in a similar role in payments companies

• Advantage for experience in an e-commerce company

• Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making

• Deep understanding of payment processes and financial systems

• A structured way of working and navigating smartly through projects and processes in a dynamic environment

• PowerPoint, Excel - critical

• High proficiency in English

• Ability to work independently and thoroughly

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
