System Engineer

In this key role, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, translating customer requirements into detailed technical specifications and managing the entire development lifecycle, from initial planning to final approval.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, cultivating strong relationships and gaining a deep understanding of their specific needs.
• Perform in-depth assessments of client demands to define project specifications and technical requirements.
• Oversee and manage relationships with subcontractors, handling contracts and procurement processes.
• Lead a team of engineers, ensuring project timelines, work plans, and deliverables meet high standards of quality.
• Design and implement innovative solutions for advanced engineering challenges, ensuring practical and deployable outcomes.
• Facilitate and lead design reviews and contract discussions, ensuring all project objectives are aligned.
• Coordinate delivery and acceptance processes with domestic and international stakeholders.
• Regularly report project status and outcomes to senior leadership, including the Engineering Director and Project Manager.

Qualifications:

• BA degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Computer, or Software Engineering - Must.
• MA degree in Systems, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering - A strong advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in R&D roles or equivalent academic experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Technical Management, or Technical Product Management within a technology-driven environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools, including MS Project.
• Experience in Aerospace, Military, C4I, or C2 systems development is highly preferred.
• Having a valid Level 3 Security Clearance is an asset.
