Job Overview
The Cybersecurity Presales Engineer will play a key role in supporting the sales and technical teams by providing technical expertise and guidance to prospective customers. The Presales works closely with sales representatives to understand customers' needs, demonstrate solutions, and ensure that our cybersecurity solutions and services meet their requirements. The ideal candidate will have a good background in cybersecurity, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping customers solve complex security challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity solutions, including Cloud Security, AI Security, incident response, etc. Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats.
- Customer Engagement: Work closely with sales teams to understand customers' requirements, provide technical presentations, and demonstrate how our solutions address their needs.
- Solution Design: Assist in designing customized solutions and architecture based on client requirements. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions effectively.
- Proof of Concept (PoC): Lead and manage PoCs to showcase the capabilities of our solutions. Ensure that PoCs align with customers' expectations and provide necessary support.
- Proposal Development: Support the creation of proposals, including technical documentation, solution diagrams, etc.
- Training & Support: Educate clients and internal teams on the use and benefits of our solutions. Provide training sessions and technical support as needed.
- Feedback Loop: Gather and relay customer feedback to product development and management teams to influence product improvements and future enhancements.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a presales or technical sales role within the cybersecurity industry. Proven track record of successfully supporting sales efforts and closing deals.
- Technical Skills: Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and practices. Experience with security solutions such as Cloud Security, Cloud-Native SIEM, AI Security, endpoint protection, etc.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address client challenges and propose practical solutions.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams, engineers, and clients. Demonstrated capability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
