About The Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified and entrepreneurial Product Management Team Lead to join us at the ground level as we develop a new mobile app for Il Makiage, with a core focus on enhancing user retention. This app will leverage our advanced technology platform to deliver a cutting-edge skincare experience. In this leadership role, you will work closely with our leadership team, driving the development of best-in-class mobile products aimed at achieving long-term customer retention. You will lead the creation of product roadmaps from concept to launch, setting and executing strategic goals while continuously evolving product strategies based on user research, data-driven insights, and industry trends. Your leadership will be key in delivering innovative, high-impact features that enhance conversion rates and engage millions of users.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will spearhead efforts across Design, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success and Web teams to build a brand-new product from the ground up—one that will captivate and engage our users.
- Inspire Innovation and Execution: Take ownership of the end-to-end creative process as we develop a new product vision. Lead brainstorming sessions, drive feature ideation, and oversee the creation of specs and wireframes to bring fresh ideas to life, ensuring flawless execution with the design and development teams.
- Drive User-Centered Strategy: Lead and refine our user research initiatives, guiding your team to uncover deep insights into the target audience. You’ll ensure these insights are translated into actionable strategies for shaping a completely new product experience.
- Strategically Shape the Roadmap: As this is a new product, you’ll be defining the product roadmap from the outset, balancing user needs with business objectives. Your strategic vision will lay the foundation for the product’s future direction and growth.
- Lead with Data-Driven Decision-Making: Champion a data-first mindset as you guide the team to analyze user behavior and early feedback, using these insights to inform iterations and long-term product strategy for this new launch.
What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years of experience in product teams, leading product delivery from inception to maintenance, ideally within mobile apps. You are known for your strategic mindset and your ability to drive project success, making critical decisions that align with long-term business goals.
- Demonstrated experience with product analytics is essential including strong background in A/B testing and data-driven decision-making processes. Experience in launching new products, particularly in consumer goods or related sectors, is advantageous.
- You excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments and are energized by the opportunity to build something new. A proactive and entrepreneurial approach is vital for success in this role.
- Demonstrated track record of driving business success through product management, including measurable improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user growth, engagement and revenue.
- Proven experience working on mobile products, with a deep understanding of the development process.
- Proven experience managing and leading a development team in a high-cadence B2C software company.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories.
- Keen eye for design and sharp UX instincts; background in design or photography is a plus.
- High proficiency in English is mandatory for effective communication within our diverse team.
