Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented, self-directed Marketing Manager to develop and grow the cloud computing businesses in the Israel area. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting technology business.

Our AWS Office in the city center of Tel Aviv includes a customer-facing 28th floor (called AWS Experience Tel Aviv) to make cloud technology more tangible and engage with customers in a new and more interactive way. We are looking for an Event Marketing Manager who is responsible for developing, executing and measuring highly impactful customer focused events and campaigns. The key focus is on driving AWS hosted and joint partner events end-to-end, including concept, content, digital setup, demand generation, budgeting and sponsoring, design, staffing, onsite support, execution as well as follow up and reporting. The Event Marketing Manager will own events entirely and be involved in all large scoped activities in Israel. This role includes interaction with customers, internal stakeholders, and AWS partners.

• Create and execute a comprehensive event plan within the allocated time frames
• Create high impact event strategies customized to the needs of specific areas of responsibility
• Deliver results including clear ROI reporting
• Work closely with our technology communities
  
  

• 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
• Experience managing events e.g. from an internship or an agency
• Demonstrated ability to execute multiple projects at the same time and maintain the highest level of quality
• Experience in presenting content in front of a C-Level audience
• Degree qualifications (Bachelors or Masters Degree in relevant subject)
• Fluency in English and Hebrew
  
  

• Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
• Be a natural team player and have a desire to work with others for broader success
• Be able to operate successfully in a rapidly changing, ambiguous and undefined environment
• Be hands-on supporting the team to deliver to success
• Metrics/ROI focused
• Clear understanding of the marketing mix and how to build and deliver integrated marketing Campaigns
• Interested in getting a deeper understanding of cloud-based technologies
