Vice President of Engineering - Geotechnics JB-3659

The organization dealing in soil engineering and geotechnical works needs a structural and geotechnical engineer for the position of VP of engineering/execution.

The role includes:

Responsibility for the entire engineering aspect of the company

Supervision of the quality of the execution

Conducting meetings with clients for the purpose of closing new projects

Dealing with the clients' advisors

A position that is mostly office-based, visiting the sites rarely

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in structural engineering and a master's degree in geotechnics - mandatory

Registered engineer certificate - mandatory

Licensing on behalf of the engineers and architects/engineer registration license - an advantage

Knowledge of soil/rock mechanics/hydrology and structural stability - mandatory

Mastery of soil analysis software and geotechnical software - mandatory

At least 5 years of experience in the field of geotechnics/as a land consultant in large infrastructure and construction projects - mandatory

Experience working in projects that include planning and execution of earthworks, landfilling, soil stabilization and geotechnical risk management - mandatory

Ability to manage teams, supervise projects, work in cooperation with other engineers, contractors and other stakeholders - a must

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams, prepare technical reports and present them - a must

Willingness to take responsibility and be committed to the project until its successful completion - a must

Full command of Hebrew and English - mandatory

Willingness to travel to various work sites as needed (in principle, the position is office-based)

Additional professional training and certification in the field of geotechnics - a plus

Work in a large company in the field before - an advantage

Sales experience is an advantage"
