System Engineer

About the position:

• Lead precision tracking technical project management within R&D, including planning and monitoring all R&D activities, overseeing project R&D budgets (materials and hours), and leading technical interactions with customers, including design reviews, acceptance testing, and system integration.
• Oversee the system-level architecture of complex systems.
• Take responsibility for developing and maintaining System, Software, and Hardware specifications and requirements.
• Actively participate in and oversee the Integration and Proof of Design phases.
• Design and manage electrical connectivity between Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).

Requirements:

Education:

• BSc/MSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
• An MSc in System Engineering is a plus.

Experience and Skills:

• 4+ years of experience working as part of a development team on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Proven experience in project management throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Proficient in writing requirements and specifications in English.
• Experience in designing complex system architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Open-minded and adaptable with excellent self-learning abilities.
• Effective team player with the capability to manage matrix teams.
• Fluent in English, with strong speaking, writing, and reading skills.
• Knowledge of SATCOM systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with servo and control algorithms, mechanical design, RF communication, and real-time software is a plus.
