Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Neurolief, selected by TheMarker as one of the promising startups in Israel, is looking for a passionate software manual QA to join its R&D team!

Neurolief is revolutionizing neurological disorder treatment with a groundbreaking headset that stimulates nerve branches and modulates brain activity, providing relief from migraines.

After achieving positive results in clinical trials for major depressive disorder, we are planning to develop and commercialize a system for this condition.

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-sufficient QA professional who can work independently as the sole QA on our team. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will need to collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Read user stories, features, and epic descriptions.

·        Work closely with the product and design team.

·        Write test suites and test cases.

·        Run manual test cases for specific user stories.

·        Run manual test cases for integration testing.

·        Open bugs, verify them, and close/reopen them as needed.

·        Participate in the team's daily meetings, sprint review, and planning.

·        Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Mandatory requirements:

·        4-5 years of hands-on experience as a manual QA

·        Experience writing and running tests for mobile environments (Android and iOS)

·        Experience writing and running tests for a web environment

·        Experience writing API tests for server-side

·        Experience working with RESTful API, knowledge of HTTP

·        Basic SQL knowledge

·        Knowledge and experience working with external devices (BT communication)

·        Strong team player

·        Enjoy working in a startup-like, fast-paced, dynamic environment

Advantages:

·        B.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar degree or equivalent experience

Our team tech stack:

·        We are working with Azure DevOps to manage our requirements, code, bugs, and pipelines.

·        The server is being built using Node.js microservices over AWS, MySQL, S3.

·        The website application is built using React.

·        The mobile application is built using Flutter.

Hybrid work model, currently 3 days a week from the office (Netanya)
