About the job:

Nuversys is seeking a passionate and experienced Formulation Chemist to lead our Applications Department. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for integrating our groundbreaking technology into various food products using standard food manufacturing processes. You will collaborate closely with the R&D team and provide technical support to clients, ensuring the successful application of our technology in diverse food matrices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Formulation Development: Design and implement enrichment processes for a variety of food products using our microencapsulation technology, across lab environments, external pilot sites, and client facilities.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the R&D and marketing teams to align product development with market needs and client expectations.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation to support the application and optimization of our technology.
• Regulatory Compliance: Source and procure food manufacturing additives in accordance with local regulations, including kosher, halal, and vegan requirements.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Academic degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Industry Experience: Proven experience as a formulation chemist in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food industries, with a strong background in formulation development and product shelf-life enhancement.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in all aspects of application development, from initial concept through to implementation and optimization.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve complex formulation challenges with attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Team and Independence: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
