Mid-senior Java developer Position

• 2-3 days remote work

This startup was founded a decade ago by two former naval officers with a mission to create an AI-based system for predicting and providing insights on maritime risks such as weapons smuggling on ships, illegal fishing, security threats, and more.

Among their clients are some of the largest shipping companies in the world.

Thanks to their system, the U.S. government seized assets worth several billion dollars last year.

They went public on the London Stock Exchange with a valuation of 126 million pounds.

In 2021, they raised 34 million pounds in funding.

are in development.

Location: A 10-minute walk from the Tel Aviv HaShalom train station.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer

• Full proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Kafka, with a proven track record of working with micro-services architecture and streaming solutions

• Proficiency in AWS services for data storage, processing, and analytics- Advantage

• Strong experience in designing and constructing ETL processes for data transformation and integration – advantage

• Familiarity with Python and NodeJS (a plus)

• Experience with GenAI tools – a must
