About the Role:

The Innoviz Computer Vision Algorithm Research and Development team is responsible for creating the most advanced perception algorithms based on Innoviz LiDAR 3D data. Our team boasts some of the brightest talents in the Computer Vision domain, and we are committed to continuous growth and innovation.

We are seeking a talented Computer Vision Algorithm Team Leader to join our expanding team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with innovative data types produced by our state-of-the-art LiDAR sensor and to develop algorithms using both classical approaches and deep learning methods.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 3-4 Computer Vision Algorithm researchers. Mentor and guide team members to achieve their targets and foster a collaborative, innovative work environment.
• Architectural Oversight: Lead the architecture of the team’s solutions. Track developments closely and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Customer Interaction: Act as the technical front-facing representative with customers, addressing their needs and providing expert guidance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the SW embedded team to create comprehensive end-to-end solutions with well-defined handover processes.
  
  

• 3+ years of experience managing a computer vision algorithms engineering team – A must
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing computer vision algorithms – A must
  
  

• In-depth understanding of classical algorithm fundamentals – A must
• Proven experience in optimized implementation and algorithm design for embedded platforms – A must
• Solid software development skills, including experience with Python and Object-Oriented practices
• Familiarity with OpenCV and proficiency in C/C++ – An advantage
• Experience with 3D geometry and data – An advantage
