Economist - Student Position

E.R.C.G provides corporate, law firm, and government clients with clear analyses of complex economic and financial issues for use in legal and regulatory proceedings, valuations, and feasibility studies as well as strategic decisions and public policy debates. The firm specializes in valuation, securities, and damages litigation, as well as in Antitrust, public policy and regulatory issues and general litigation support. The ERCG professional staff has broad experience in working with large data sets and providing careful and detailed analyses of the economic evidence.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site position located in Jerusalem as an Economist - Economic Analyst. You will be responsible for providing support in analyzing complex economic and financial issues. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting research, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and assisting with economic modeling and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Economics, PPE, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to work with large data sets and perform data analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Prior experience or coursework in economic analysis is a plus
• Knowledge of economic principles and understanding of economic models and theories
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Stata, SAS) - Advantage
